3 Reasons We Think You Should Pick Up This Book:

  1. Our main character turned 35 and dyed her hair. If that’s not the most relatable thing, then I don’t know what is.

  2. This book takes place in South Africa and is written by a South African Native. For me, this is a new setting and I love to explore the world and different cultures through reading!

  3. This book starts out with a corporate scandal and promises “a pandora’s box of secrets”. These are two very dramatic promises to make us in the time it takes to write a blurb, so obviously, we are in.

Our Favorite Quote:

"Why God? Why did you have to make me get old? We had a deal. Let the others grow old, but not me!”
